Houses I have lived in

The answer is 31!! Caralee Turnidge got it right!
I was born in Springville Utah while my parents went to BYU. After BYU, my dad went to California for his masters. My mom did live in care for elderly people. So we moved around some as clients died. I only remember one house during that time: the client had a bird and some rabbits. And she had a little house out back that was actually haunted. I have lived in two haunted houses in my youth.
We then moved to Roseburg, Oregon. We lived in two houses there. One off a dead end road on a dirt road. We loved that house. It was surrounded by blackberries. We lived next door to the Rubles. They were dear friends. We lived in that house from 1st grade to half way through 4th grade. I went to Kindergarden in our first house in Roseburg.
We then moved to the Tri-cities and lived next to my Grandpa and Grandma Tingey. I went to Jason Lee. Grandpa sold our house to Uncle Scott so we moved across town. I finished 6th grade there. And then Dad was laid off and so we moved to Spokane for work.
We didn't actually live in Spokane. We lived in Mead school district up in a little place--the name is eluding me at the moment. I loved all the trees up there. I attended Mead Jr High there. And I made some life long friends there as well.
My dad had an affair and left us just as I was starting my freshman year, so we moved to Richland and lived with my grandparents for 6 months. Then we moved into our own apartment on Leslie.
In 1999, I graduated from Richland High School. And I went to Ricks College. I spent the summer in Davenport Apartments. Mom had me spend my freshman year in the dorms--Dorm 5 room 301 (can you believe I still remember that). I went home that summer. And when I came back I went back to Davenport. I liked that apartement complex, and it didn't cost as much as the dorms. I stayed in that same apartment until I graduated. I spent one summer down with Amber in Layton Utah. That was fun. After I graduated I rented a room from Ila and Henry Potter.
I then married Todd Nef and we found an apartment near the temple in Idaho Falls. We lived there for a while until we decided to move--Todd had never really left Idaho. So we decided to try something new. It was good for us to move away for a while. Although sometimes we wish we had never left--it was really good for us. We considered almost everywhere on the West Coast. In the end, we moved to New Mexico. We lived two weeks with his parents and then moved to Farmington, New Mexico. We stayed with Henry and Ila there for a while as well. We then split a house with Randy and Carry until they moved home to California. We found a place almost to bloomfield. We liked it out there, but the landlady didn't make any of the promised repairs. So we finally moved into LaRae's old place there in Farmington. We stayed there until we moved to Albuquerque. We only had one apartment in Albuquerque! And we enjoyed it except for the fact that they didn't do repairs unless it was life threatening. But there we lived near Jennifer and Dwayne as well as Nick and Zina. It was so fun.
We started to look at Texas. We really liked what we saw, but my mom had some health issues come up. Dot was getting married and moving to Utah. And with my mentally retarded little brother, we decided to move home and help my mom. We considered Spokane, Yakima, Boise, but in in then, we decided to move to the Tri-Cities so that we could really be helpful. In the end, I think my mom helps me more than I help her, but that's why we moved!
We started out staying with Grandma and Grandpa Cook in their motorhome. It was suppose to just be for the summer and ended up being 9 months. It was a hard but wonderful time for us. And we are so grateful for the time we had living so close to Grandma and Grandpa Cook. And lastly, we moved into our place here in West Richland. We have loved it here.
We plan on making the Tri-Cities our home with the possiblity of moving home to Idaho eventually. But we hope that don't stay in our little trailer. We want to buy. But Todd is so sick of moving. I use to get itchy and want to move, but I too am ready to settle down. Do you realize I've never lived somewhere for more than 4 years. I use to think that was my parents fault, but I've lived on my own for 10 years now. And in those 10 years, I have lived in 4 states (counting the summer in Utah). So there you have it!
As for Todd. He was born in South Rigby. His parents moved to Spokane for two years. They then came back to the house he was born in. They then bought their place out in North Rigby. He lived there until he went to Ricks. He stayed in 2 apartments out there I believe. He did go to the MTC and then 1 place out in California. And then he married me. Life is good and Todd hopes we don't move much more. Although he too would like to eventually buy.
