Halloween 2011

Trunk or treat pictures.  I was suppose to go and take Michelle with us, but she got in trouble and couldn't come.  So I stayed and worked.

So we have our pumpkin, repunzel and frog.  These are not the costumes I set out for them when I left for work--but they were happy so why complain.
Here is Kaylyn.  I caught her sucking her thumb while watching carebears.  She never did this before.  But here she is.  We then took a few more pictures.  She is posing in the second shot.  This is her take a picture of me smile.

We were going to go trick or treating--but I got sick today.  And I wasn't up to taking them out.  I am all stuffed up.  My eyes and nose are running away.  And I'm dizzy.  And Todd is feeling very tired too.  So we were going to watch movies instead.  Aunt Dot volunteered to take our kids trick or treating so they didn't miss out.  Here she is loading everyone up.  Doesn't she look amazing?  And Kylee as our Repunzel.

She wanted to be Raven and this was the best we could do with what we had.  I just couldn't buy her a real Raven costume this year.
Uncle Garth as Zorro.

And then there is me.  I was going to dress up as a present.  I stole this from Karla.  She went as present the year Kaylyn was born.  IT was a hit.  I didn't get the chance to wear it properly this year.  And I didn't do the ribbon and the clinkly paper you put inside.  But I had to put the gift bag on long enough for a picture.  If you can read it--it says "welcome little one."  And we are excited for our little present to come in June.  The big question here is whether we will bring him home wrapped up in blue or her home in pink.  I know, it's early to announce--7 weeks along. But I'm announcing anyway!!
PS for those of you like Todd where small hints don't work: yes we are expecting another baby.
Those we have talked to ask if we are trying for a boy.  Honestly we feel we have no say in the matter anyway.  And we leave that up to God. We are excited to have whatever baby He chooses to send us.  It would be fun to have a boy, but in a lot of ways another girl would be easier.
I'd like to say this was a big surprise to us--because having another baby right now doesn't make any sence.  But the truth is, we felt that God said it was time for another one.  And as President Monson said "follow the spirit, even when it doesn't make any sence." So we did--and this pregnancy is not an accident.  I'm excited all the same.
