funny things my kids said

Today Karla and Kylee was playing I spy.  Karla said "I spy something by me."  

Kylee wasn't getting it.

So Karla "I'll give you a hint.  It starts with a W."

Kylee promptly told her "No letters."

Karla offered "it sounds like wa-nd."

Kylee "Wand!  I spy something by me that sounds like fr-idg-er-ator."  

My kids are great.  Don't you sometimes need hints that aren't hints.  Todd often says "little hints don't work; big hints don't work."
