We didn't think we could make it, but we really wanted to go, and in the end we were able to go to the Nef family reunion in Logan Utah. We were a day late and missed Trent, but we are glad we got to go. Here we are hiking up to an old gold mine. I have pictures of the back mostly because this was Nathan and Kaylyn's first hike not being the baby in the back pack. It was a slow pace. And in the end, Todd and Rich ended up with the baby in the front pack and the toddler on their shoulders since us momma's had just had a baby and weren't up to carrying a toddler and hiking. What amazing men they are!!
When we got back from the hike, we found that squirrels had gotten into our camp. Look at what they did to our cantalope. They even tried to get into our peanut butter--the lid is amazing.
Lorna and I ended up talking a lot as we nursed babies. When we came back from the hike we nursed babies and the kids made pony bead animals. He was amazingly patient with all these little neices and nephews. And the grown ups made ear rings. It was fun. We mostly visited and enjoyed swapping stories.
Kolten has a neice that is only a week older then him. Here is Devrie--She has the same middle name as Kylee Jasel because it's Devrie's mother's middle name too. :)
There was amazing fishing--ans everyone caught their limit including the girls.
That night we had a talent show. All those who didn't have a talent prepared got drafted into a skit.
I was so disappointed in not doing Christmas in July, but we got to do Grandma gifts. And that was nice. The girls all got bracelets that their great grandma help make as well as candy jewlery too.
The next day we took down camp and went to the lake. The older boys all went cliff jumping.
Most of all it was so good to just see everyone!!
