Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve we had to clean the house so Santa would come to our house.  After all our work was done, we loaded up.  But before meeting up with Aunt Dot and Grandma Julie, we spent some time just us.  We used the bowling tickets the kids had won at Grandma Julie's work picnic.  

 Of corse we had to play just one video game before we left.

I love it when they will play and don't want quarters.  Oh  a sad day when they learn how much more fun it is when you actually pay for the game.

 We then went to Aunt Dot's house/Grandma Julie's house.  The girls had their baths and we got ready to go caroling, but not before the PJ fairy came to visit us.  This them after Aunt Dot helped them get all decked out.  Once they bundled up--their hair didn't look as nice.  Sorry girls, you have both your mom and your dad for parents!!

We then went caroling--first to a few just us Manns and then with the Tingeys.  I know you can't see much in the video--and even if you could it's mostly of our feet, but hopefully you can catch how we sound.  It's fun to go with such a group.

My little carebear

Aunt Emily let us borrow this costume for Halloween, but Daddy liked the pumpkin costume/pjs better because he could just put her to bed when we got home after a late night of  partying.  And since Mom was at work, I didn't get a lot of say in the matter.  Oh well, they had fun.  Well the girls came across the costume the other day--they thought it was a lot of fun to play dress ups.  They helped her and required very little from me.  I think she is really cute.

Karla looses her first tooth

Karla lost her first  tooth!  And what do we find?  There is already another tooth behind it coming up.  Can you see it in any of the pictures I've taken?  But it's already half way up.  I wonder if we need to take her to the dentist and have him pull another tooth to make room for it?  I wonder if this can help avoid braces, but I am not sure.

 And of corse, we have to look at Kaylyn and Kylee's teeth too!!  So one more picture of each child so no one feels left out.  Karla was so excited.  And so was daddy.  After the tooth fairy came, Karla said "look Kylee, the tooth fairy left a quarter for me and a quarter for you!"  She is a good sharer just like her daddy.

Todd's first lesson in photography

We saw these the other day, as we were taking out the trash of all things.  I said we should take these pictures, but it was so cold--I didn't want to.  So Todd went out and took them for me!  He did a very nice job.  We are thinking we should submit them to our local credit union for their calendar.  The flower ones are my favorite.
