Happy Birthday Tiffany

While we were at Grandma K's house, Tiffany celebrated her birthday. Tiffany and Spencer went to a movie and ran around Idaho Falls and Rigby for a while. The boys and Tiffany played racketball up at the collage. And then for dinner, Trent made his lasagna. It was good too. And then we had cake. Happy Birthday Tiffany. It was so fun getting to be there for your birthday.

Christmas tea

Emily and Grandma Nef hosted a girls tea party. It was so much fun to see and visit with all of our Nef cousins, aunts(, and of corse Grandma Nef) who could make it. And the food was wonderful too!!
I'll admit, I told Grandma Nef I'd bring Todd and the girls back over to visit and it wasn't until we got home that I realized I never did. I'm so sorry Grandma.

Skiing behind the car--Nef Christmas 2010

You might be a redneck if you skii behind your car--or atleast a Nef. Todd actually started it when he was about 16ish. They live on a quiet road to begin with and it's easy to find it snowy! We also sled behind the car too :). Karla even tried it. Todd has been praying there would be a enough snow that he could do this. He was tickled pink that this worked out.

So Christmas came twice at our house. The Desert Hills Young Men and Young Women dropped several presents off while we were out of town. They took an old entertainment center and turned it into a play kitchen for the kids. They then gave them a very nice set of dishes and play food to go with it. They also got them coloring books--which have already been used more than once--and crayons. They picked them up some princess stickers. And they made the whole family matching PJ's. The girls and Todd are crazy about them. Todd being crazy about them was a surprise to me. He didn't get that excited about the PJ's I got him christmas morning. And yet he thinks these ones are great!! We want to say thank you for all your hard work. You made Christmas extra special for us this year. We feel so loved!!

I hesitate to mention ... but I'm going to any way--when Todd first told me they had made this, I asked if there was a polite way to say no. I have been downsizing so we fit in our house. But there really wasn't a polite way so I just smiled. But these kids did an amazing job! The kids really do love it. And I think this will be a toy we keep for when our grandkids come to play. And I'm embarrassed about my earilier attitude.

I wanted to put in a quick plug. My sister-in-law makes some way cute hair pretties is what they are called at our house. Most people call them clippies and bows. You can check her out at adellesboutique.blogspot.com. They are way cute. And my sister-in-law, Emily Jean, is very meticulous, creative, dependable, and honest. You can't go wrong with these. And my girls LOVE her hair bows. Now if I could just get Kaylyn to leave it in her hair. One day soon enough, right.
