We do lots of different things for papers. Lately, I have been trying to get up early and do my West Richland route. The goal is to get home so that Todd can go do his route just before going to work. This way the girls stay in their beds. But today, my papers were a little late and I had two new starts I had to find. So I didn't make it home in time. So we loaded the kids up, and we all went to do the Duportail route we are throwing right now. Karla was up and wide awake, so we put shoes on her (thankfully we had them in the car). And Karla delivered papers with me. Kylee slept in her car seat. But Karla walked the route with me and delivered about half the papers. She ran the whole way. I am not sure I can describe it: Her hair mussed from sleeping, in her nightgown and tennis shoes, she was running towards me just happy. It was one of those moments that I took a mental picture. I really do love her.
But the girls have been a big help lately. They are just starting to put their toys away. The blocks in the block box, the dress ups in the dress up box, the toy dishes in the toy dishes box. As a mom and maid, I am very excited about this. Yesterday, while waiting for Karla to finish her lunch, Kylee put away all my cups and silverware from the dishwasher. She needed some propting as to with slot to put the forks, spoons, and knives, but I am so proud of both my big helpers. Then Karla helped me pick up the living room because she wanted to be a big helper too.

How cool! Isn't it exciting when you start getting little helpers around the house. I love it!! Every time I pile of the dishes Justin starts saying, "wash, wash". It's fun! Then if I have him pick up his toys and I started picking things off the floor Justins starts getting excited and says, "Vacuum, vacuum". I haven't been able to vacuum for a couple of months. I love my husband and my sister in law who have helped a ton with cleaning since I haven't been able to do much. All my energy on my boy. Anyways, it's so much fun with little helpers!! Cool they help you with your paper route helps them learn early in life about work and it's probably in their minds helping mommy and daddy!
