Kylee eating!!

October is a very busy time for birthdays among my siblings, but here in Washington--it's July. Garth and Kylee have been argueing about who's birthday it is--the plain fact is it's both. Kylee is born 7/10 and Garth is born 7/14. And then we have a few cousins with July birthday's. So we always seem to celebrate at Family Home Evening as well. So we had a lot of goodies. For Garth's birthday, he had a party at the church with cake and icecream and kickball. And a lot of his buddies showed up for that. He also had cake and icecream on his actual birthday. And then for Kylee's birthday, we had a fun dinner of appitizers and hamburgers/hotdogs. We opened presents. The kids ran through the sprinkler park earlier in the day. Then we put the kids down and as adults we played imagin if! It was fun. Here are a few pictures. Karla even made out with some presents. Thank you Grandma and Aunt Dot. Todd and I gave her a slip and slide which they play on almost daily. Grandma got them pj's and Aunt Dot got them an outfit for the reunion and a fairy book. We also found some wii motes just their size!! It was the best find yet. (It's actually a candy dispensor, but we hope it takes them a long time to figure that out.) They now feel like they help and get to play without frusterating Uncle Garth.
As for Kylee's two dollars she got from Grandma K--she was very excited to pay tithing, put some in savings, and then she picked out popsicles with her spending money. They are very excited about being able to earn money right now. I love that cleaning out the dryer is a 5 cent job at the moment. They are working towards having quarters to ride the rides in the mall on our next free movie day! Way to go Dad for teaching them the way to save and pay tithing with their money. And Thank you Grandma K for creating a teaching moment. We love you both!

I know this second video is sideways--I realized it too late. But this is as Garth is opening his new DS lite.
