Moving stats

I have moved some in my life. No my parents weren't with the military; it just worked out that way. But I am 30 years old and this will be house #30 for me. I thought I would break my long time goal, but we are being asked to move before Todd graduates--so it didn't happen. The longest I have ever lived in a home is 4 years. We did break the goal of how long Todd and I have lived in a house. The longest we have lived in a house together before here was 18 months. We moved around a little. And I think it was good for us. We are ready to settle down a bit--and we have lived here 3 years and 2 months. (PS Todd has basically lived in 7 houses before he married me. That statistic included his mission and collage life.) We are hoping this is the last place we live before we buy and stay there a while. But that's what we hoped moving into this house, so we will wait and see. In all those moves, I have made many friends. And I feel the Lord has been good to me.
...Although thinking about it. My parents obviously moved about every 4 years. Rarely did we stay in a place shorter than 4 years, but we never stayed longer than that. It hadn't occured to me until now--My mom has only lived in two houses since I moved out 12 years ago. But I never made the discision to move. I didn't even suggest it, not even once. Something to think about anyway.

When sharing this with Todd, he said it was my dad who was the gypse. And I think he is right.
