Karla turns 6, Kylee turns 5--Let's Party!!

We decided to wait until the weather was nicer for Karla's birthday party. Then when we found out we had to move, and since we had waited so long anyway, we decided to have Kylee's party at the same time. So we celebrated both birthdays while Ben and Jaimie were there to celebrate with us. Karla had already planned a cowboy party; while Kylee had already decided on a tangled party. SO we merged the two as best we could. It went really well I think. P.S I uploaded the pictures in opposite order: so here is the end first. But I want to get this posted.
Opening presents Kylee got a repunzel doll which was exactly what she wanted. She has loved that doll. But we appreciated all the gifts those friends gave them. I was even surprised at how much we enjoyed the hangman game. The girls play it quite well--and hanging sponge bob makes it fun.

We decorated cupcakes and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. And then of corse our favorite party attraction: the swing set.

We then had our Rodeo style opstical course. You had to go through the tubes, put the horses on and then jump over two "hurdles" and go around the cones!! Kaylyn even got into the action: and it was so cute. She is trying to go over the hurdles here:

We rasseled ourselves some cattle in the form of an Easter Egg hunt! And for those Tangled Princess's they were looking for the crown Flynn Rider stole. Kylee even found our crown if I remember right. But everyone was happy with the candy.

Our Princesses made paper lanters like the Lanter celebration in Tangled while our cowboys made cowboy vests.

We also finger painted like Repunzel did in Tangled (maybe a little more messy). But I was busy with paint instead of my camera. We then put the boys in charge of duck, duck goose until parents came. All in all--we are so glad that everyone came and celebrated with us.
