Todd has taken to wearing a goat. He hates to shave. And this allows him to get away with not shaving. He also thinks it makes him look older (I think part of this is that he didn't need to shave until after he turned 18). Either way, he likes it. I have been told several times that I should make Todd shave. I laugh. Have you ever tried to make Todd do anything he didn't want to do? Besides, for me, it's not a battle worth fighting. This is probably part of the reason why I am married to Todd while my sisters, for example, who insist their husbands shave are married to their respective husbands and not mine. Shortly after I had several people tell me I should make Todd shave, we attended the temple. And low and behold he shaved.
I mention all this to illustrate the next point. My mom and I were talking. She asked when we were going to the temple next. Todd had lost his wallet (with his reccommend) and then the temple was closed for cleaning--after all this, we were simply out of the habit, and it has been two months since we attended. I told her we need to and soon. She offered "how about friday night, I'll babysit." "Sounds great." Then mom admitted to her alterier motives--"Todd is scruffy and needs to shave." Even my mom is learning. Neither her nor I mentioned this to Todd--I just told him she offered to babysit, but I doubt he'll notice this here. And if he does--oh well.

You should go to the temple every day... ok maybe every other day. At least once a week. But like you said, you married Tod. I didn't. I couldn't live with him. And personally, I do not think he looks older when he is scruffy. It's too light to really look good.
What is with those Nef brothers? I have to admit, I make Devin shave twice a week. I can't stand kissing him when he is scruffy, no one notices besides me however (since you can't really see when he is scruffy and I am the only one kissing on him...)I think that going to the temple is the perfect excuse to get those men to shave!
hahahahaha definitely sounds like Todd. It was so much work to get him to do any thing he didn't want to do. Good luck!! My husband when I say he needs to shave he shaves if he's growing his facial hair out he asks and wants my opinion and depending on what I say he will do it. Most of the time I don't care if he grows it out but when it gets to long and it itches or I can get it in my mouth it's time to shave.
Do you have a picture of him when he's scruffy? Andrew likes his facial hair. It bothers me, but I do think he looks better with it and he feels better with it too. I fought it for quite a while, but oh well. I just have to remember, I'd have a hard time if he told me when to shave my legs...
