Friday, I went out to Basin City and got raspeberry starts from Ann. Thank you Ann!! So Friday night, we were fixing up the water out at Grandpa's farm. The girls even helped. They love helping daddy in the garden! Dark came faster than we hoped. So the girls spent the night at Grandma Mann's house, and Todd and I got up at 6:30 in the morning to get the raspberries in. We then went to Grandma Mann's house and got her garden properly fertilized (we hope anyway) and ready to plant. Then it was back to the farm for us. Todd rotatilled and built a box for the strawberries. Before the day was done--our little strawberry patch was in the ground. We still want to build a lid for the strawberry box to keep the birds out--but it will wait for another day. We then hurried home and went to the temple. This week--we focus on getting the veggies in out at the Campo's. We are excited about our little patch.
