Big January for a big girl

My cute little baby.
Look, I can stand up. She is so proud of herself, can you tell?

Todd taught Kaylyn to drink out of a straw. And when Kaylyn woke up, she thought she'd help her sister be happy--so she gave her a capri sun.

Bath time!! After meals right now, it seems easier to just take a quick bath.

Buddies.

Giving sister a bottle.
She has not been sleeping when she nurses, so she is finally weaning herself because she needs to sleep.

My beautiful girl.

January has been a big month for Kaylyn!! January first we spent time with my mom. Todd left for work, and I put Kaylyn down. And what did she do but crawl! She more inch worms it, but she has loved getting around. Often, I get out of the shower and find her crawling up and down the hall way. "Mom?" She said Mom first as well--the last week of Januray! And a few days later she said "dad!" She will wake up and instead of crying she'll just call "mom." And when dad gets home it's "dad, dadda, Dad!" But before she said Mom and Dad, and just a week and a half after she started crawling, she pulled herself to standing. I put her in her crib, and I guess she didn't want to go to sleep. It is so funny to see this little girl standing. She is still in size one diapers (although probably not for too much longer). Nathan Vance, 4 months, was done over Presidents Day and they are the same size. Although Kaylyn is much stronger and hitting all the 9 month marks (8 months Jan, 9 months Feb). She looks precoius. Kaylyn also has started picking up cereal and feeding herself! January was a very big month for our grown up but small little girl.
Kaylyn has brought so much love to this family. We are so glad you joined us Kaylyn!
