Christmas eve we spent at my mom's house. Right as I was about to go to bed, I got a call saying my papers were ready for me: at 10 pm. Right as Todd was getting off work. So my mom stayed with the kids while Todd and I delivered papers. It felt like a date getting to deliver with Todd. And it was so nice to get home and go to bed. And to be there as the girls woke up. Garth woke up several times. But because Todd and I put the air mattress in front of his door--he waited.
It was just Mom, Garth, and us for stockings. It was nice because we all went at the pace that suited us. Garth had all of his presents open very quickly. Karla and Kylee opened and played and then opened some more. My sisters and I made my mommy cry. (I know I've done well when I make her cry). We got her a plack and pictures for her grandkids wall.
Breakfast with my aunts and uncles. And then home to spend some time with just us. We played some of our new games. It was a nice day. Pictures soon to follow (when I have my camera and the computer together.)
