Roping Cows

So after practicing and practicing on the roping dummies, Spencer got really good at roping the dummy. So Spencer asked if he could try on the real thing--on calfs atleast. And Trent and/or Grandma K just happen to have some calfs that obliged. Trent gave them some good advice--and I think everyone who tried succeeded atleast once. Spencer is in the ear muffs. Trent is in the black coat with the black hat. Anthony is in the tan coat. Todd is in his PJ bottoms and sweat shirt. I think everyone had fun. Although I think Todd enjoys gardening more than working with animals. Animals really just have to much mind of their own. He likes the motorized type horses (4 wheelers, motorcycles, ect). And we talk about raising animals for food. And we want to be able to do just that, but I'm not sure Todd really looks forward to anything but the fresh meat.
