Kaylyn puts away her bottles

Kaylyn is so easy to put to bed--usually. You give her a bottle. Pick out a baby. Put her in the crib. And close the door. But she is 2 and a half. And I realized it was time to put the bottles away. With her sisters we said "if you keep chewing the tops off your bottle, you won't have any bottles left." And when they chewed a hole in the last nipple they were done. We told Kaylyn the same thing. But Kaylyn learned. What a smart girl. She quite bitting her bottle. So what to do....
I finally put all the bottles away. Kaylyn would lay in bed "Please daddy. Bottle please daddy." IF she had thrown a fit, it would have been easy to just say no. But she was so polite. When crying in bed didn't work for two days. She started to crawl on my lap after putting pj's on. "Please, bottle, please momma." Broke my heart to say "No, your a big girl now."
So Kaylyn has fixated on Winnie the Pooh. She has to wear her winnie the pooh pjs every night--even though we only have one pair and they get so filthy before I can run over to mom's and wash them. She had to sleep with Winnie the Pooh doll. And she had to have her one and only winnie the pooh blanket. She only cries about 5 to 10 minutes now. It's been wonderful.
So we picked up some material because we weren't finding any winnie the pooh pj's for her. She now insists on sleeping with the material instead of her blankets. I've also picked up a spare blanket to alieviate washing needs. And I'm hoping to get the pjs made next week.
We checked out a carebear movie from the library. While watching it, she had to have her hug blanket from grandma K which is a carebear blanket. She also had to have her carebear--not sisters carebear. It was cute to watch her curl up all decked out to watch her cartoon. And now, she is willing to sleep with a carebear, clifford, or winnie the pooh. Last night she took a whole zoo to bed with her.
The newest phase is that she is waking up in the morning before I get home from papers. I'm not sure what to do about this. But atleast going to bed is going well.
I think Kaylyn is so cute.

We have a carebear costume that Caleb wore last year. Does she want to be a carebear for halloween? I could send it with Grandma K next weekend.

Oh how sweet, she sounds just like Carmi and her blankie (I have to sneak it away to wash it because she carries it around all day)
