Karla's 4 birthday party

We had pure chaos!! We had 13 children between the ages of 6 and 2 (plus Garth). We started out with about 75 balloons. We are now down to 30. They had fun at first running through Karla's balloon jungle. (We hung about 25 from the ceiling with 15 heilium balloons on the floor, the rest simply scattered on the floor). Garth then encouraged them all to pop balloons. I think we scared poor Kymber Brooks who was one of the youngest and an only child at this point. But they had fun. We played duck, duck, goose. We decorated cupcakes--I use the term decorate very loosly. At this age, it was how much candy can I stack on one cupcake. A few of them decorated hats while others painted wands. We opened presents that were all wonderful. Kylee struggled a bit that they were all for Karla, but Karla shared good after everyone went home. We then played with the toys that didn't have small parts or went outside and swang on the swings and played in the play house. All in all, it was pure chaos but successful.
Tonight, we are going to Grandma Mann's house for a quieter, less choatic party where the older generation is invited to celebrate. (It's a good excuse to get together and have more cake!!) Thank you to all who came!!
