After dinner, we had a 10 minute pick up on the livingroom, and everyone participated. As we finished picking up toys, Karla asked "who's coming to our house, mommy?" I had to laugh. "No one is coming to our house, but you are here and you are worth having a clean house for!!" I promise we clean for more than just company. But lately, we've had several visitors over for which we have made a special effort to have to house clean for. My kids make me laugh.
On other fronts. Kylee has figured out how to move the chair to the kitchen sink and wash her own hands or get a drink of water. The girls painted today as I tried to catch up on my scrapbooking. When Kylee was done she washed her hands. She was so proud of herself as she showed me her clean hands. I told her she still had to take a bath--to wash the paint off her stomach. She did, and then she put herself down for a nap. That doesn't happen often.
I have good kids, and we love them very much.

Wow! Pretty cool she's learning to clean her own hands and put herself to sleep. Wish my son would do that LOL! Isn't it funny what kids say I love it. Annalisa started laughing today when I tickled her it was so cute!
How funny, I remember many incidents like that growing up! Even now I try really hard to keep the house clean, and I only have one!! (A little tornado who turns it upside down in five minutes..hehe)
